Growing up in Kamloops BC was a perfect place for me because I’ve always loved being outdoors. I kept myself occupied and out of trouble by playing on too many sports teams to count. Before I became an advisor, I worked in the resource sector and immediately started saving money after college which allowed me to start my own practice in 2011 with Freedom 55 Financial.
After 8 years of building my own practice, I merged with The ReFrame Group because I wanted to work in a team environment and leverage technology and resources to reach more people.
I’ve attended several workshops that claim there are 7 key areas of life (spiritual, financial, physical, intellectual, social, family, and career) that we’re constantly trying to progress and balance. I feel fortunate that I can directly share my knowledge in one of those areas and genuinely help people feel better about their financial situation.
Above all, it is my belief that for someone to be “happy” with their current situation in life, they need to have purpose. Purpose is the reason why you do what you do. As a company, we want all our employees and clients to thrive in the 7 key areas of life. ReFrame gave me the purpose I was missing previously.
